22nd & Garfield
Eugene, OR click for more details...
Neighborhood Description: We are the west Eugene neighborhood centered around the intersection of 22nd & Garfield.
The approximate boundaries of the neighborhood are Chambers to City View and 18th to 24th (although anyone nearby is welcome!). Our area is a part of the city\'s Far West Neighborhood.
We aim to promote connections between the residents of our area to make our neighborhood a more friendly, beautiful and safe place to live.
One current project is painting a street mural in the middle of the 22nd & Garfield intersection to reclaim our streets for pedestrians & bicyclists, while encouraging drivers to slow down and take note of the neighborhood.
The mural will be next to a patio/garden and information kiosk which works as a gathering spot where neighbors can exchange conversation and information, and be inspired by the beauty and creative elements in our neighborhood.

Pierce Street Neighbors
Eugene, OR click for more details...
Neighborhood Description: Pierce Street Neighbors live between 18th and 23rd on Pierce Street. Pierce Street is part of the Far West Neighborhood Association.
We will be safer and enjoy our life here more by being better connected with our neighbors. Communicating through this website can help us do that.
We have been lucky to have a July 4th potluck most years, but we would benefit from more of us getting together more often.
Pierce Street has a problem with speeders who use it as a shortcut to avoid 18th and Chambers. Together we can come up with solutions to reduce speeding traffic and address other safety issues.
Pierce Street also has many new families with children who would like to know eachother better. We have some older neighbors who may need some neighborly help. We want to look out for eachother and not let anyone fall through the cracks.
Join Pierce Street i-neighbors! Let's make some plans! How about tree planting?
